TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The terms of the Academy's price list, the enrolment form and the terms and conditions constitute the terms of the legally binding contract ("the Contract") between you, the student, any Guarantor set out in the enrolment form and Tennent's Training Academy
  2. Applicants for short courses, e.g. one day, 5 day, evening classes or demonstrations must pay the pay the full amount at the time of enrol on to the course
  3. You must attend all courses on a punctual basis unless prevented by events which are beyond your reasonable control
  4. You must comply with the rules and regulations of the Academy
  5. If the Academy considers a student's behaviour unacceptable the Academy will be entitled to refuse entry to further classes, without any refund being granted
  6. The Academy will be entitled to change the timing and or content of any course and to substitute any teacher at any time
  7. If fees are not paid by the due date, the Academy will be entitled to reallocate your place (without prejudice to the obligation to pay fees)
  8. Any deposit and/or fees will only be returned if the Academy is unable to offer you a place on your chosen course
  9. You may terminate the contract (and all monies paid will be returned to you) at any time during the period ending on the day falling seven working days after the date of the Contract. Notice of the termination must be writing. To be effective the notice must be posted or delivered not later than the last day of the seven working day period.
  10. The Academy will be entitled to cancel any course at any time subject to the repayment of any deposit and fees received of the course or the part of the course which has been cancelled
  11. You must not bring any items of special value onto the Academy's premises. The Academy will not accept responsibility for the loss of any personal possessions
  12. The Academy will not be liable for any loss suffered by you which is indirect, special or consequential
  13. The Academy will not be liable for any loss suffered by you resulting from any event which is beyond the reasonable control of the Academy
  14. The Contract contains all the contractual terms agreed between you, the invoice addressee and the Academy
  15. No failure or delay by the Academy in enforcing any of its rights under the Contract shall be deemed to be a waiver of such right
  16. You are advised to take out insurance against loos of fees through illness or personal accident

Requirements

To Book a Course

Check the availability of the course on the appropriate course page.
All courses including evening classes and short courses may be applied for using the online booking process with your credit or debit card. Please call the school if you have any questions.

Payment

All courses one week in length or shorter must be paid for in full. All major credit cards are accepted.

Should I make a late booking online?

If you want to book within 2 days of a course starting, please book online as usual and also call us on 0845 166 6060 to confirm.

What if I can't make the course at the last minute?

Please give us a ring - someone on the waiting list may be glad to take the place.

Fees

The basic fees excluding VAT (Value Added Tax) are shown on the course pages. See Full terms and conditions.

Health

All students should be immunised for tetanus. Please let the Academy know in advance if you have any relevant medical conditions such as dyslexia, allergies, diabetes, epilepsy, eating disorders, poor vision or partial hearing.

Terms & Conditions for Gift Vouchers

  1. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from issue date.
  2. All gift vouchers are non-refundable.
  3. Bookings are subject to availability on any course.
  4. A gift voucher can be redeemed against the cost of a course or for goods from Tennent's Training Academy. It can make up a part payment for a course but no change will be given if the value is more than the cost of the course. A credit can be given instead.
  5. Once a course is booked and paid for by gift voucher that voucher is considered redeemed. Cancellation less than 2 weeks ahead, for shorter courses and 1 month ahead for longer courses, will result in forfeiting of the gift voucher unless Tennent's Training Academy can fill the place.

Terms & Conditions for Leisure Tokens

  1. Only one coupon to be used per person
  2. Must Quote reference at time of booking
  3. Only applicable to full price courses
  4. Can not be used in conjunction with any other offer
  5. Valid before Friday 18th November 2011
  6. All tokens are non-refundable.
  7. Bookings are subject to availability on any course.
  8. A token can be redeemed against the cost of a leisure course from Tennent's Training Academy. It can make up a part payment for a course but no change will be given if the value is more than the cost of the course. A credit can be given instead.

  1. This offer is for 50% off the cost of Personal Licence Holders Course at £120 + VAT and the Basic Food Hygiene Course of £80 + VAT only
  2. Offer runs from 1st to 31st January 2012 only
  3. Offer refers to any bookings made within this time for training up until 30th March 2012
  4. A maximum of 3 deals can be bought using the offer from any business or individual
  5. Course must be booked and paid for at the time of booking in order to receive discount
  6. The offer is subject to availability
  7. Normal prices apply out-with the offer timeframe
  8. Must phone 0845 166 6060 and quote 'SLTN' to book places with the offer. This offer is not available to be bought on-line.
  9. Tennent's Training Academy reserve the right to withdraw the offer subject to availability
  10. Any discounted places bought with the offer cannot be refunded and dates cannot be changed. If a booking does not show then this place will be forfeited and money will not be refunded.

  7. The Academy will be entitled to change the timing and or content of any course and to substitute any teacher at any time
