  1. Can everyone apply for ILA funding?
    If you are over 16, currently live in Scotland and earn under £22,000 per year then you are eligible for £200 to put towards training every year.
  2. Where are your courses held?
    We run courses throughout Scotland but we are based at 161 Duke Street, Glasgow, G31 1JD.
  3. What if I don't have enough funds in my ILA account to pay the full cost of the course?
    You are able to part pay. So if the course is £80 and you only have £20 left in your ILA account, you can pay £60 cash and £20 from your ILA account.
  4. How do I apply for my ILA account and how long does it take?
    You apply for your funding at www.ilasctoland.org.uk it only takes a few minutes to fill out the online application ILA will then post you a pack which you need to sign and attach pay slips to. Once you have done this you should receive a letter from ILA telling you that your account is open. Then all you need to do is give us your account number to book on any course.
  5. How do I book one of your courses?

  6. Can I attend a course if I'm not eligible for an ILA account
    Privately funded courses will soon be available, please call us to find out more.
  7. Do I have to be a Tennent's customer to come to the academy?
    The courses are open to all.
  8. I'm having a birthday party - could I bring some friends for a cocktail course?
    The Academy will soon be holding special event nights and classes, please give us a call to find out more.
