CHRISTMAS DEMO & DINE WITH QUIGLEY

Chef/patron, John Quigley's roller coaster career started in London’s West End where he quickly established himself and gained a reputation for excellent casual gourmet dining. He then took the opportunity to travel the world as a private chef to rock stars and celebrities such as Bryan Adams, Tina Turner and Guns n Roses. Since returning to Glasgow John has opened and established numerous successful restaurants which have achieved international recognition. In 2005 John, along with his wife Gillian, decided to open their own restaurant – Red Onion.

Johns three watch words for successful festive catering.  John Quigley will be hosting an evening of dinner & drinks at the Cook School based inside the famous Wellpark Brewery, learn the secret of  on how to entertain your guests with minimal effort for maximum effect.

Join John on this fun, festive dinner where he will share his great knowledge of catering at Christmas. John will demonstrate a full 4 course Christmas lunch highlighting simple, seasonal dishes that are sure to impress friends and family. Set in the state of the art cook school, relax and dine with friends around the Chef's 16 seater table, and pick up some great hints, tips and his rock and roll Chef stories  A VIP night with a difference - not to be missed!

Christmas Day Menu:

 Selection of Crostini’s

Salar smoked salmon salad with fennel ruby grapefruit and minty crème fraiche.

Spiced carrot soup with coconut, coriander and lime

Traditional roast turkey and trimmings -Sage, apple and onion stuffing, cranberry relish, roast potatoes,glazed baby carrots, green beans almondine, sprouts with pancetta and gravy

Flaming Christmas pudding bombes.

Chocolate petite four

Evening Includes:

·         Glass of prosecco and canapés on arrival

·         Full demonstration of Christmas dishes with John Quigley

·         Informal supper with wine in the cookery school

·         Recipe cards to take home
